Social Media Image Sizes

Did you know that social media content with images are 40 x more likely to be shared than content without? Yep - it’s true what they say - a picture is worth a thousand words.

But there is nothing worse that seeing a “Professional Business” page with non-optimized images. Grainy, blurry, or miss cropped images can cause your reader to feel uneasy.

The difficult part is making sure your images are the right size for each social media network, so they look professional and have the most impact on your audience.

Clicked pins: 600 to 735 x scaled height
Board thumbnail: 222 x 150 px

Youtube

Profile Photo: 800 x 800 px
Channel cover photo: 2560 x 1440 px
Custom video thumbnail: 1280 x 760 px

Facebook

Cover Photo: 851 x 315 px
Profile Photo: 180 x 180 px
(displays at 160 x 160)
Tab image: 111 x 74 px
Link Image: 1200 x 627 px
Shared Image: 1200 x 1200 px
