How To Get More Leads Using Call To Action in Your Social Media

 

Learn how to add urgency to your marketing by using powerful words in your message.

  1. Determine your Goal

Before you write your call-to-action, you need to determine your goal:

  • DO YOU WANT TO INCREASE SUBSCRIPTIONS?

  • BOOST SALES?

  • DIRECT READERS TO ANOTHER CONTENT PIECE?

2. Make A Plan

Once you know what you want to accomplish, you can think about how to get there. Make a list of the marketing pieces that need a second look.

If you’re aiming for newsletter sign-ups then only ask them to sign up for your newsletter, not sign up for the newsletter, join your Facebook group, like your Facebook page, follow you on Instagram, and so on and so on…

Keep your content focused on the finish line and keep make it impossible for them to be distracted by anything other than your message.

4. Choose Powerful Call to Action Words

Add urgency to your marketing by using powerful words in your call-to-action.

THE BEST CALL TO ACTIONS ARE BRIEF AND USE STRONG VERBS.

  • JOIN OUR COMMUNITY

  • BOOK A CONVERSATION

5. Keep it Simple and Concise.

You need to clearly explain what the reader needs to do (i.e. Join Us, call now for a free consultation, buy now, etc)

  • Make it clear what the customer will get by responding (i.e. Free Social Media Audit, 15% off coupon code, book your free 15 minute consultation, etc)

  • Focus on benefits of taking action (i.e. save money now, get help now, etc)

  • Offer something of value to the reader - bonus points if you add a deadline.(i.e. Free for the next 24 hours)
